That was good. He nailed everything I saw in that game, the good and the bad. If our offensive line can block like that consistently this season then the Bears are capable of being a good team. As the guy said, I can't wait to see how the Bears do in this 2nd game against the Giants. The OL played the best I've seen a Bears OL play in a long long time. Mitch is being every opportunity to show if he can be "The Guy" now. Nagy is playing to his strengths. The run game is there. Blocking is there. We have a TE unit that should be good. There are good WRs other than just AR.
I'm hoping the defense looks better against the Giants.
For anyone that has ESPN+ there is a 25min breakdown of Manning breaking down the film, good/bad/ugly. I refuse to give ESPN a dime of my money so I won't buy it, but it'd be interesting to know what Manning has to say.
I like how he pointed out that ya he missed a wide open Graham, but he threw it to his #1; and threw him open in tight, and triple coverage. B/c it was to ARob, and it was a damn near perfect throw he forgave him for missing Graham.
I think people need to remember the team needed to move the ball, so I'm guessing he was told to chuck it downfield if it's there.

My favorite thing is the people praising Mitch for that decision because AR caught it, but the throw AR missed was a bad decision. Both had guys running free underneath and he threw into heavy coverage both time. So either both throws were bad or they were both good. Can't split on them.

It's also throws qb's get praised for all the time when their WR's catch them, and most would be not be given the heat for the decision that Mitch is given.
to be fair though, time in the game and score could lead some to feel it's okay to take more aggressive shots over other times. IMO neither were terrible passes or decisions, b/c you were throwing to ARob, and he isn't supposed to need to be wide open, or single covered; if he needed that there would be no reason to pay him 15-20 mil.
