Read what I put behind those numbers. One is consider the year's best defense out of 32 teams. Which would be a 1/32 chance while the other is consider the decades best defense which is 1/320 chance.
I don't know about you but 1/320 chance is a lot bigger than 1/32. Basic math...
The 2018 Bears defense is consider #2/320 defenses in that decade... ( 2018 Bears defense ranked #1/32 for 2018 ) The 2019 Bears defense is consider #4 out of 32 defenses for the year of 2019... It isn't just about the number but the real placement both of those defenses would be for decades. The 2019 Bears isn't in the top 10 for the best decade. If I do the math for them. They be around 96+ for best defense of the decade. Again that isn't 2 numbers behind...
