Peanut with 4 forced fumbles in one game - including the first play of the game. Forte looking amazing. The D putting on a clinic. A Bears offense laying a 50-burger on an opponent (really). Devin Hester being amazing. Urlacher with a pick-6 and looking pretty awesome with Lance Briggs. It felt so good to watch this one. Here's the YouTube Link:

I gave that a FFWD watch while killing time on the night shift. That D was so much fun. Then I wanted to bleach my eyes as I watched the offensive line.

Because I am masochistic, I watched a couple other games from that year, just an absolute eye-popping incompetence on the offensive side of the ball. O line vs 'Frisco was almost comedic. I would bet large sums of money that a trained monkey could call a better offensive series than Mike Tice. All those weapons, Bmarsh, Alshon, Forte, Hester's speed. What a waste.

That is what frustrates Bears fans so much. The long sordid history of failure on offense. It's more than just a QB problem here in Chicago. Certainly that is one factor and an important factor. But it's also a big basket of "fail" everywhere. Then we come to last season and we watch it get even worse. It was so hard to watch on gameday. The team just stunk it up. It didn't even look like an NFL level offense. It's like some clown show from a lessor league trying to play NFL defenses on gameday. Painful to watch. And all the more painful due to the fact there is a history here with this Chicago franchise. A history of failures on offense. Year after year.

Yeah, J'Marcus Webb was the LT in that Titan game. Wow. He looked like his feet were in concrete trying to move to block defenders.
