And these issues are popping up with the bare minimum players/staff at the facilities. Imagine how much this will increase when everyone is in the same building.... I hate to say it, but we’re not going to see any major sport return.

We could see a short season. I think my predicition that firing is not going to happen for the league after this season (short or normal), is going to be true.
We need an effective vaccine. That's what I'm personally waiting for. Regarding the virus and the NFL season, just think of how contagious it will be this Fall in a sport where you can't social distance players in games. They are physically tackling, blocking, exchanging sweat in addition to breathing in each other's faces. I could see the virus taking out enough players on a team mid-season, that they would have to forfeit games. I mean, how do you deal with that? Or, even if they go ahead and play games - with 10 or 20 starters out for the Covid-19, what kindof quality team will be left?
I don't think that's crazy thinking. I think it may very well happen. This Coronavirus is wicked contagious.
It's summer now, and we were told that this thing would just go away in the warm weather (quote, "like magic") but we are seeing several states this week hitting records for the virus. It ain't going away "like magic" and until we have a vaccine I think the virus will do a heavy number on the NFL season. Hope I'm wrong though. I'd love to see a great football season played out. But what we actually get may be pretty disappointing.
