Speaking of revenue streams. I've often wondered why the NFL doesn't provide a complete library of games to those who subscribe to a streaming subscription. I often play old games from YouTube, but the streaming quality is horrific. I would pay to have a subscription to the entire NFL film library that goes back as far as their vault has stored. They must have rights to a gold mine of games. And quality video of them (not the fuzzy grainy crap on YouTube). I would think that the NFL could add this to a streaming service of all kinds of NFL content (stuff like "A Football Life, content from the NFL Channel, etc).

Yup, although this would be more material, WWE has all the events all the way back to the early 80s, includnig other companies they bought and tv shows
The NFL and NFLPA reached an agreement late last week where the 2021 salary cap will have a floor of $175 million. The revenue loss will be spread out the next three years. If revenues are better than expected, the 2021 salary cap could be higher. This year's salary cap will remain at $198.2 million.

I was playing around with OTC (Over the CAP) because their CAP ROSTER management tool is much better than Spotrac. If you release Massie, restructure Hicks and add 2 voidable contract years, extend Fuller to fill his voidable years, and extend ARob you can wind up with about 22-23M in CAP space. Then you have wiggle room for Mitch and or other FA´s we need to resign. You can add even more by restructuring but then you are kicking a lot of CAP down the road. I really hope we get that bump of 10-15M. If that happens then we could have about 35M which will be just enough to take care of our own and the rookie class. I don´t care about FA spalshes at this point. Too difficult.

They (NFL) will need to provide some new options, exceptions or "exits" for teams cos of this, fairly big, drop in space. There is absolutely no way we cut Massie, especially cos we dont have Ifedi signed. It would be a suicide.

Problem is Alex, we have so little CAP and a lot of players due so there will have to be sacrifices. You can restructure Massie or extend him with voidable years but I would rather wait until mid year or 3/4 of the season to be over before I try and do a mock off season. Way too many variables yet and we don´t know who will play really well and deserve a raise, etc.

Also, we gotta hope people start streaming more games so that revenue goes up. First 2 weeks NFL revenue is down across most of the networks. Not good.
