I had forgotten that Bears/Cards game... I think I'll watch that one next. That was one of my all-time favorite Bears games. I've never re-watched it since that game so it will be a real treat tonight to pop up some popcorn and watch it. Thanks for posting that one in particular. Classic for sure!
ps, how are you doing MOTM? Are you on lockdown too?
I just finished watching this one. The Bears vs reigning Super Bowl champion 49ers. Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and a high-powered 49er offense is stopped by the Bears great D. Actually this was a fantastic defensive performance for both teams. If you love to watch great D with hard hitting, this is a great one to watch. Future Hall of Fame players all over the field in this one. Walter Payton has a fantastic day too. Loved watching him and Matt Suhey in this one.
Willie Gault wasn't a great WR, but just having a threat like him sure helps an offense. He had some nice catches in this game and one bad drop too. Jim McMahon was a bit wild with the throws in this game though... that 49er defense was putting bigtime pressure on him all game long though.
Mike Brown is one of my favorite Bears of all time. But watching that first game vs. the 9ers was painful. Holy balls that offense sucks. Jim Miller, wherever you are, you should count yourself amongst the most fortunate people on the planet, to have been allowed to play in the NFL, collect a paycheck, and wear a Bears uniform. If you're reading this, please believe me when I say I mean this in the most positive and non-insulting manner: YOU SUCK.

Just a reminder that the Bears channel will host the Bears/Cards game tonight! I'll miss the 1st half with a Zoom meeting but will be in the shoutbox for the 2nd house.
