We don’t have the cap space to continue paying older players bound to decline. The one move that hurts is losing Mack Alexander for that little contract. Evidently he was pissed playing in week 17 against y’all and got hurt...when starters Rhodes and Waynes got the day off. Before the offseason started I had Ant Harris, Mack Alexander, and Griffen as the 3 priorities to bring back.
The FA market hasn’t developed yet for edge rushers. I wouldn’t mind Griffen returning on a 1-2 year deal. Seems like he’s waiting until Clowney signs first... As the roster currently stands, the top needs heading into the draft are, IMO of course:

Rhodes aged 5 years in front of our eyes last year. The Colts will quickly realize he’s toast in the NFL. Waynes is an average CB, which shouldn’t be taken lightly in football. I would still be upset if the Vikes matched the $14 million AAV contract he received in Cincinnati. And unfortunately, releasing Griffen was required just to get back in the black with our salary cap.
