I like to read mocks because I don't get to watch much college football overseas.
My only concern is the number of WRs I see mocked to the Bears across all sites I read that have issues with their hands and drops. If we think that the WR last season had trouble with drops, why add a guy who has that listed in his profile?
Same thing can be said about the guys with issues running routes. We complain about our current guys running routes so again, why add someone who has route running as a weakness in his profile?
I also don't understand the angst about drafting the highest ranked center two years after they drafted the highest ranked center (Daniels). I don't understand why that would stop us from drafting the best interior OL-men on the board.
Disclaimer: I like our current WR core and would prefer to spend draft picks on OL, DL and TE as priorities.

Because we already have guys to compete for the RG spot, we have seen that being the "highest ranked center" in a draft doesn't necessarily translate into the NFL, and we have no developmental OT in the pipeline.

If we draft C and S with our first picks its gonna be Ryans last draft day.
Not saying this will happen, but imo it wouldn't be terrible either.
Ruiz is damn fine interior lineman who would be a day one starter and give Whitehair the opportunity to move to Guard. And speaking of DBs, we currently have 9 CBs but only 5 safeties under contract. Not a lot to pick from. Antoine Winfield Jr. mostly played the free safety position but could easily move to ss. I'm just not sure Jordan Lucas and Deon Bush are ready to be #1 on the depth chart.

But Whitehair did move to G already. Did we like it?
