Here is the video of Montgomery shutting down Iggy on the RB/ILB pass protection drills. Nice of him to grab on the Iggy to keep Iggy form landing on his butt.
FYI: Cam Meredith has been released by the Saints. Sucks for him that he hasn't been able to heal and recover, but it's now obvious why the Bears did what they did, and might have done more then they should have w/the tender they gave him.

People were upset with the Bears for letting him go, but this shows the Bears (and their medical staff) were right. There was significant concern by the Bears medical staff that Meredith would have a chronic problem after his surgery. They were right. Kudos to the Bears on this one.
riczaj01 , thanks for the excellent coverage posting these tweets. I just got back from today's camp and it was really pretty miserable weather. It was good to see the players performing in the windy and rainy conditions though. Mitch (overall) looked good in the nasty conditions. You sure like to see that from him. David Montgomery is one heck of a weapon. I'll bet he is a huge help to this team this season, and certainly for many years to come.
If the weather is decent,
I'm going to drive back up to camp on FRIDAY. Anyone want to meet up there?

I suspect that Cam might retire. However, I was listening to the Rich Eisen show there a lot teams that need a WR.

Been some talk on twitter and 670 that maybe the Bears will try and trade some of their WR depth to help a team like NY out or Cincy out.

It would be nice if we could make a trade that would benefit both teams. We are going to have a solid WR (or more than one) not make our roster. In turn, we really really need help at TE. Maybe another team has surplus talent at TE. That would be a dream come true. Maybe it's just a pipe dream tho.
