Mizzel won't make the team at RB or WR, w/the change could they put him on PS?
+1 I like this move to TE. Experienced smart player who's appeared in 100 games over the past 7 seasons with 24 starts. He's going to be about as good of a blocking TE as you could ever hope for - and the bonus is that he CAN catch. Big target for Trubs too.

I think the move indicates both are at risk for not making the team.
In Sowell's case we have the younger OL guys brought on recently and maybe he would be on the outside looking in at OL. Also he could be a better receiver than we all think (or at least better than I think). Not that he wouldn't be primarily a blocker. But enough of a receiver so that if a DC ignores him as a receiver he could make them pay for it.
With Mizzell, I was looking at all the offseason moves at RB and I was already convinced he would not make it through PS. So IMO they are giving him a chance to show something before being released.

0:52 re-watch the PAT. Did you notice how Parkey almost hit the upright again? That was so close.
