Either, Neither, or Both: The Bears/Eagles have their first season with a 4000-yard passer? by run1609
The Bears and Eagles are the only two teams who have never had an individual QB throw for 4K yards in a season.
For the Eagles, McNabb threw for 3,916 yards in 2008. Wentz threw for 3,782 his rookie year when he played all 16 games, and has obviously been banged up the past two years. It seems like as long as he can stay healthy, he has good odds to break the 4,000 yard barrier.
For the Bears, Erik Kramer threw for 3,838 yards in 1995. It's worth noting that Cutler threw for 3,812 in 2014 but was benched in Week 16 by Marc Trestman for dynamic backup Jimmy "Pickles" Clausen. Trubisky threw for 3,223 last year, but missed two games. With a full season of health and moderate improvement, he has a punching chance at 4K as well.
If Trubs plays a complete season I think he very well could hit the 4k level. I don't really know anything about the Eagles and Wentz so I can't even guess about that one. Honestly, I'm not about the passing yards for the Bears, but more about seeing Trubisky show improvement in his game, within a diverse and effective offense that is not 1-dimensional. Mix it up. Be unpredictable, and effective while being unpredictable. Limit turnovers (both fumbles and ints). If we do that I really (honestly) don't care how many passing yards Mitch has this year. I'm just wanting to see the Bears win. But yes, I could see 4k passing this year if Mitch stays healthy.

a lot of this depends on how GB plays this year, but I do think the Bears could get a QB to throw for 4k especially with 2 pass catching RBs. Need to see more from out TE group but there is size and speed at the position.

I was going to say no because I do think Nagy likes to run the ball, but then again, short passes are the new way of "running" the ball. So I think the Bears are likely to do it.
Wentz and the Eagles definitely have a fighters chance at it, especially if Wentz finds his play from his could-have-been MVP season.

To be honest, I really don't care about Trubisky's stats.
As long as we are efficient on offense (consistently getting 1st downs when needed, scoring when needed, not turning the ball over, etc) and dominant on defense, I am happy. Because we will be winning a bunch of games and if we can do that in the payoffs we will be likely heading for the SB.
And that is all I really care about at this point.
