I do believe we surprised some teams this past season. We were the perennial doormats, the last place losers every year in the NFCN and I don't think anyone respected us. But we surprised everyone and won 12 games & the NFCN last season - and now in 2019 we will face teams that take us more seriously - and we have a blistering hot schedule to face. I believe that even the 1st game of the season will be a statement game for us - good or bad - when we face our nemesis in the division, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Opening night of the season at Soldier Field. We will see if we can take them down, or not. Huge game. Huge season coming up.
“As coach [Matt] Nagy said, we’re the hunted now,” said Bears chairman George McCaskey, according to Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune. “He welcomes that, and I’m sure Tarik (Cohen) and his teammates do also.”
LINK Chicago Bears know they are among ‘the hunted’ heading into 2019 The Chicago Bears were one of the top teams in the NFC this past season, winning 12 games and capturing the NFC North division title to make their first playoff appearance since the 2010-11 campaign.
Now that the Bears have shown that they are a really good football team, they understand that a target will be on their backs heading into next season.
