I'm not surprised and I feel for him.. I think he is more of an CFL coach than an NFL coach. Also, I don't think we will ever see a CFL coach ever coach in the NFL again..

I liked the Trestman hire initially. I thought it was a good move to bring in an OFF-minded HC. I liked the emphasis on treating grown men like grown men.
But then....Tucker happened. Good Lord was that a quick decline. Even if you attribute some of it to player aging, that DEF fell off a cliff.
And then...Trestman happened (lost locker-room, etc, etc.)
Thats why I think the team is stuck with Fox right now. Ownership/Phillips told Pace No More Newbees at HC.

We were all blinded by the hype. And then we were blindsided by the shock and awe of the cliffdive to the cellar. Emery trestman Tucker. They each contributed in their own way, but it was a compounding contribution. The negative synergy blew up and steamrolled everything and we're still digging out from it all.
I'm sure T-man is a good guy, but I don't want him near my team and he'll never coach in the NFL again. Unless maybe we could convince the packers to give him a shot?
