The Loop Sports Jack Soble on RRH. Long Twitter thread. Take the time to read the whole thing.
he has a nice one on youtube about the Dl and run defense as a whole. he really breaks down nicely how stats aren't always the key. Guys like Goldman, Hicks, RRH, and Nichols all make life a whole lot easier for the Lbs/playmakers. there were multiple plays mack got the glory, but it was an interior DL making a great play that allowed Mack to make the play.
teams need playmakers like Mack but they dont get far without guys that can do the dirty work.
been watching a lot of this also, Locked on Chicago Bears. Seems they do it for a lot of the teams, in case you are intersted what the other teams are doing. so locked on "x team"
Here's another good guy to watch. Breaks down WR's really well, can tell you what guys are doing well or poorly even when the ball doesn't go their way. Great watch.
Charles Leno officially becomes the steal of the 2014 draft class. At least according to The Draft Network.
+1 I was an idiot who thought he was a failure after that 1st season. It just goes to show that players can take some time to develop at the NFL level. Leno is just one of countless examples of that fact. The challenge for coaches and GMs is to be able to discern early on, who has a good shot at a higher ceiling, - versus those guys who simply don't have it and need to be quickly let go. It's not a science but an art form, IMHO.
