Wow I did not know it was to be launched that fast.

First game will be Feb 9th 8pm on CBS 4 different teams will be playing in 2 games.

Let's go Memphis, Samurai's team which plays on the following Sunday.

Well, I notice some big difference between the AAF and the NFL.

1. No kickoffs
2. 35 seconds to get a play off
3. No tv timeouts.

A rule that I saw is that when a team scores a td they have to go for a 2 point conversion.

I didn’t get a chance to watch any of the games this past weekend but it sounds like most folks are pretty surprised how good the games actually were. I’ll have to try and catch one this next weekend. Go San Antonio!

AAF suspending operations, canceling end of season

The Alliance of American Football just wrapped up eight weeks of action and had two games remaining in an inaugural regular season.

The league, though, will not see the end after AAF chairman Tom Dundon suspended football operations Tuesday afternoon.

"I am extremely disappointed to learn Tom Dundon has decided to suspend all football operations of the Alliance of American Football," AAF co-founder Bill Polian said in a statement Tuesday. "When Mr. Dundon took over, it was the belief of my co-founder, Charlie Ebersol, and myself that we would finish the season, pay our creditors, and make the necessary adjustments to move forward in a manner that made economic sense for all.

I've been reading these. It is 100% classless. There are some seriously injured players without health insurance now - That really sucks, in particular. I wonder if there is a way to have a successful class action lawsuit? These owners are all rich. They totally screwed their players here.
