B/c there was some talk about him in the shoutbox during the Bears game thought i would post some stuff from Brett Kollman; and a guy that broke down his college game.
imo, when watching this breakdown, again I go back to Tebow. Guy can run, and extend plays and make a few throws, but nothing w/consistentcy b/c he's not a good qb right now. Could that change, hell ya it can, could he end up like Tebow b/c he doesn't change, ya he could end up that way too. Way to early to tell. Just like Mahomes isn't guaranteed to always be this great, nor is Dak/Watson/Mitch guaranteed to be average. QB's develop and can change if they are willing to put the work in. It will be interesting to see if Lamar is; apparently he told his team to give him time he knows he has to get better, so hopefully he hires a qb coach to work on his footwork and throwing motion this offseason.
btw, ya the OL isn't great for balt, but when your qb doesn't know what he's doing, he is going to make them look worse then they are. Cutler made the Bears OL look worse b/c he always held onto the ball to long, same w/Jackson when he isn't able to escape.
Here's a complete breakdown of Jackson and the Chargers way of defending him. Like Brett said, some of the issues were lack of wr's, and playcalling, but a lot of what was blamed on the OL was b/c of Jackson himself and not really an issue w/pressure.

I watched that game between the Ravens and the Chargers. To be honest I was impressed with Jackson. He is very green and needs a bunch of coaching. Unfortunately I think he will die at Baltimore. But in a good system and playing for the right coach, he would have a bright future IMO.

I found myself laughing at how bad he was, so i guess to each his own. I think Balt, much like Den w/Tebow, put him in the best shot to win. Kid cannot throw right now, not saying he cannot get better, and his footwork/mechanics are a hot mess.
The question is will they be able to work w/him enough to get his mechanics and footwork, and his ability to read and react up to par in 1-2 years.

When I said I was impressed, I meant I saw him make some plays that showed that he has some innate physical skills that were very impressive. Not that he was anywhere near a finished product. He obviously needs to sit on the bench in a good system with good coaches for a year or two (like with Doug Pederson or Andy Reid). IMO much higher skill set than Tebow.
And in Baltimore he is getting thrown to the wolves.

That we can agree on. He needed to sit for a year or 2 and learn how to throw and read a defense.
