The Pack hire Matt LaFleur as HC

I'm not saying you're wrong with anything you said (in fact you may be right), just going to play devils' advocate:
1. It's a copy cat league...   Look at all the teams that have had success and the coaching tree that develops..  Some trees fruitful (Bill Walsh tree) and some not (BB tree)..  
2. They interviewed like a dozen guys.   If you see a guy you want there's no sense in waiting until everyone else is done putting assistants together.    Hiring the right assistants is just as important as the right HC and the right GM...  No one better than Bears fans knows that...
