I'm delighted ... to know Fangio is no longer coaching the Bears defense. Oh you mean Stefanski? Ahhhh ummmm, too soon? The offense was Jekyll/Hyde in the 3 games he was the interim OC. He got off to an amazing start against Miami, 3 TD's on the first 3 drives of the game, but then the Vikings went 3 n out on the first 4 drives of the Lions game AND the Bears game. Even after the hot start against Miami the offense disappeared in the 2nd and 3rd quarter by only picking up 1 first down in 5 drives. The offense was extremely inconsistent. Overall the Vikings went 3 n out on 37% of their drives in those 3 games, which would have been worst in the league. But I'll cut him a little slack because he was thrown in there cold turkey and had to work with Flippers playbook. Lets see what he can do with an entire offseason and his own playbook.
Zim has had one OC quit on him already mid season (Norv Turner) and now he had to fire Flipper mid season, so I don't think he can afford to be wrong with Stefanski or his own seat is going to start getting warm. Although hiring Kubiak as an assistant was probably a good move, if he stays healthy. I'm almost more excited about that than Stefanski.
You guys happy with Pagano at DC lol? I was not impressed with him as HC in Indy. I'm sure Colts fans would have rather hung onto Arians, but it's probably a bad PR move to fire someone battling cancer. He only has 1 year of experience as DC, in 2011 with the Ravens, and last time I check he had some pretty good talent with that squad, as he will with the Bears.

Personally, I am taking a "wait and see" attitude with Pagano. In his short tenure as a DC and as a defensive assistant in several positions, he has made significant statistical improvement over his predecessors. But you never know the entire story about that.
