The Bears broke one bad early season trend by beating the Lions 17-14 to improve their record to 1-3 on Sunday, but another one remained in place.
The Bears have been ravaged by injuries and they saw wide receiver Kevin White join the list when he hurt his ankle during the win. Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports that White is scheduled to have an MRI Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Injuries have been a major theme in White’s brief NFL career. The 2015 first-round pick missed his entire rookie season after having surgery to repair a shin problem and dealt with a hamstring injury leading into the start of this season.
White has 19 catches for 187 yards so far this season, including six catches for 55 yards before being injured against the Lions.
Can you put a rod in an ankle? Everyone knows what this means right? Jeffery is getting paid by the Bears...either that or Pace drafts a WR on day 1.
Problem is Hoyer doesn't throw to Jeffrey.
Geesh, you can't have it all. Hopefully Jay Cutler comes back. He solves this by throwing to the other team. Simplifies it all. No worries about our WR injuries that way. And if he can't throw to 'em, he is nice enough to fumble the ball to them. He can multi-task that way.
