The Packers came close to beating the Rams in LA. Rodgers had time for a 2-minute drive and FG if Montgomery had just taken a knee and started on the 25 instead of bring it out and fumbling. Stupid.
Anyway, the Rams can be beaten. I will be surprised if the Saints don’t beat them next week at N.O. Nice to see Packers, Vikings, and Lions all lose. It can’t get any better than that. The Seahawks beat the Lions in Detroit. Hawks ran the ball about 40 times. Man, I tell you Chris Carson is a HORSE. Not quite the next Marshawn Lynch — but close. Their defense is playing better, too. K.J. Wright is back. They might beat the Rams — almost did it the first time they played. So, if N.O. beats Rams next week and the Bears beat them in week 14, they are going to have at least 4 losses. Now, if the Bears can keep winning until week 14, who knows (?!).
Green Bay played them even. bone headed play at the end. Young players are getting better each week. I think they have a run in them. Schedule is brutal and 4 of 5 away. They’ll go out to NE and take care of business next week.
Seattle is not the patsy I thought they’d be this year BTW

It has been proven that the Rams are vulnerable to a good running game. The Packers (Jones) had 12 carries and averaged 7.2. The Seahawks ran all over them in their first meeting. On defense, the key is to keep pressure on Goff and stop Gurley (easier to say than do, but I think the Bears have the personnel to do it — esp. R. Smith). We shall see.
I live in Seahawk world and so watch all their games. They have developed an identity with their running game. They run it so much that it helps Russell Wilson’s passing game. I would not be shocked if they beat the Rams.
Howard had 81 yards yesterday. I would like him to have at least one 100-yd. game before we meet the Rams in week 14. You could see in the Jets game what he can do with just half-decent blocking.
BTW, speaking of bonehead plays, I was furious with Jackson yesterday for his personal foul. The Bears had just gotten a stop on 3rd down and that stupid hit allowed them to keep the ball and score. It was a huge momentum changer. I actually started worrying a bit when Jets cut the lead to 7 points. We can't have players doing this kind of crap when we play teams that are better than the Jets.

Yes that was very stupid!
Although, I must add that NFL has become a pretty sissy league comparing to previous decades. Don't get me wrong!

I thought so too.. Seattle is a reminder is never discount teams out early in the season. They usually go up around this time. In fact, I'm glad the Bears played them already.
I expect the Seahawks to compete with the Rams in the NFC West (I thought it would be the 49ers to be honest).

To your point I was a little shocked at how inaccurate Goff got when the Packers started hitting him.

To your point I was a little shocked at how inaccurate any quarterback gets Goff got when you hit him often enough the Packers started hitting him.

The Seahawks seem to be very good at player development.

That I agree..
Here is a lesson in the NFL wait until week 8 or 10 to determine that the teams sucks and I'm glad the Bears played them earlier than now.
