Which is what they should do. Every incident of similar behavior by a fan at any Chicago pro sporting event that I know of has had the following outcome.
Identification, prosecution, conviction (hopefully) and banned for life from attending future games.
The troubling thing in my mind is it seems to be happening with greater frequency. It is sad to say that if I were a dad with younger children, I might not take them to a Bears, Cubs, Sox, Blackhawks, etc game because of the behavior of many of the fans.
I've always wondered, if you are banned from a stadium ... how do they actually keep you from coming back? With 60,000+ people attending the same event, how do you keep Douchebag Beer Thrower out?
Someone enlighten me, because this has been bugging me for years. lol.
