The nfl.com article linked below is titled "Vikings' Griffen battling serious mental-health issue".

While it may make it a bit easier for the Bears to beat the Vikes, my heart goes out to the guy and his family. Long term Bear fans will remember our challenges with Alonzo Spellman who could have become a multi year all pro for us. I hope Griffen is getting the help he needs and is back on the field soon.

Losing Griff is hurting our team a lot.

We're all waiting (impatiently) to see what the next step is. Does he come back soon? Does he come back at all this season? Does he come back at all ... ever?

There are more questions than answers at this point, but maybe we'll know more in the next couple of weeks.

That was some craziness. Dude just went off the rails. Was there a history of him and odd behavior? I wonder if he was using spice or another synthetic trying to bypass piss tests.
