Yes, that's always been an issue w/ soccer. I'm used to watch real men play football, hockey and rugby and every time I see soccer players act as if they're dying on the field, I can only roll my eyes and change the channel.
What do 'real men' - as opposed to fake men - do when they play football, hockey and rugby?
LOL ok can I ask why? I would understand if I choose Liverpool or Manchester due to their popularity but why Chelsea hate? I honestly have no idea because I am a bit of a futbol idiot. I told my Irish friend and he laughed at me saying Chelsea is posh.
Like I said I tracked my Family to the Westminster area of London and I also checked out a FC club map to triangulate a team as close as I could. Chelsea looked as good any. I am open to suggestions here so give em a reason and not because they suck or they are dumb lol.
Why not Chelsea? So many reasons, I'll list just a few. It is a very posh club, as Chelsea is a posh part of the city, but in the same time it is the home club of one of the worst english hooligans - Headhunters (look them up, lovely guys)!
Also, it was a mid-table club before russian money, Abramovic, came in and made a contender over night. Many consider Chelsea and Man City as artificially made clubs, as they have/had very few english players (a few like Terry and Lampard-altough not their 'child'). I believe Chelsea had a lot of 11 foreign players on the field and over-night success. One of my least fav english clubs, absolute rubbish in my eyes
I feel the same. Every time I see a Zidane jersey I get that same feeling in my throat. I do have a hard time with the constant diving, you see the players fall as soon as they feel anything on them. But you really have to respect the conditioning these players have. My God the running they do.

It is not always an issue with soccer, its only an issue with part-time viewers. At least 90% of guys don't do that. I dislike it too, with passion.
I see the same thing happening in NFL, as QBs and Punters are getting so protected, human nature.

I think it's a good analogy, QB's/Punters imo make sure they go down at the slightest touch to try and get the call.

I think diving and other forms of cheating is a much bigger problem in soccer than other sports. I don't understand why FIFA don't at least punish people after the fact. Rugby used to have a problem with players assaulting each other with punches, head butts eye gouges etc. - but they brought in a system where players would get cited and banned after the match if it was caught on camera - I can't see why soccer doesn't do it with diving. Diving is now endemic to the sport - even Northern European teams like England do it now.
Also, why is soccer about the only sport in the world to not stop the clock when the ball goes out of play? You get a lot of low level cheating with people faking injuries etc. to run down the clock when they are in the lead.
While I'm ranting - it is too hard to score a goal in football. It is pretty frustrating to watch a match where one team dominates the other for 90 minutes but loses 1-0 because the other team got a lucky goal - even worse when it was from diving for a penalty.

One of the football (soccer) charms, better team does not win at least 25% of the time. Thats why its so popular I think.

So Chelsea are the Pats of teh premier league got ya. Arsenal and Fulham are next up. Oddly enough I do have a Newcastle united shirt but like I said, I kind of want to cheer for a team that my Bloodline came from.

Sounds good. Now to look at Dazn again and see if they show premier games. The season is about to start in a few weeks right?
