I like it, he is being open and I am sure at some point the organization will value him in this regard.

Maybe they can just graft Matt's hands onto Howard's wrists and he won't need all that coaching.

As for their running styles I love Matt Forte but I'll take Jordan Howard. The guy is custom built to run behind a zone scheme.

It is, but guy would be great in the end room. He worked his ass off every off season to keep in shape and no doubt he could help with rbs knowing how to catch.

Needs to start a little lower though...maybe Lovie could use his help.

I like the idea of getting former players involved in coaching. I loved it when Chris Harris (who btw was one of my favorite players during the Lovie era) was hired in 2013 and was pretty disappointed when Fox chose not to keep him on the staff.

I realize that just because you were a great player doesn't mean you'll be a great coach but it sure wouldn't hurt the team to have Forte around.

I'd also love to see Urlacher become a Bears coach one day.

Matt says his shout to the Bears to be hired as a coaching consultant wasn't a joke. I don't think it's about money either. I truly think he wants to help the team.
