Pace has found a way to pick mid/late round guys that turn out to be steals, who will it be this year?
Iggy, a lot of similarities to Smith Nichols, a lot of similarities to Hicks Fitts, weak OLB depth chart and high upside if he can stay healthy Wims, only real big bodied WR on the team w/a good catch radius and high pointer, but not the best route runner
I think Fitts or Wims. Remember Mark Anderson's 12 sack season? If Fitts stays healthy as a situational pass rusher he might surprise us. As far as Wims, Nagy seems smart enough to create a giant package for the goal line with Robinson/Shaneen/Wims are posting up in the endzone for jump balls.
Fitts. He's the safe bet given the lack of OLB depth and Floyd's injury history. He's gonna see the field early and often. I think the other late rd picks are going to have a harder time seeing the field and, as such, they will have a hard time standing out (positively or negatively)
Regarding Fitts I just read this, this morning. It's part of an excellent Windy City article. It's worth following the link to read the entire draft article.
The Bears finally addressed the need for a pass rusher, however, it came in the sixth round in Fitts. Of all the late round picks, this one I feel has the most promise. Fitts slid in the draft mainly because of health reasons, but if he would have stayed healthy, he likely would have gone a lot sooner than the sixth.
Fitts has the versatility to rush the passer with his hand in the dirt or standing up in a two-point stance. He has a good combination of size and speed that has good bend around the offensive tackle. Unlike Floyd in his first year, Fitts’ size is not going to be what holds him back.
At 6-foot-4, 263 pounds, Fitts has a very good size for an edge rusher and definitely has the body to add more strength and definition to it. Fitts has the quickness to beat opposing tackles off the edge and the closing speed to finish. He also can win with power, packing a power punch to joist offensive tackles back and knock them off balance.
Fitts still has room for improvement as a run blocker. However, on a team that is lacking pass rushing, Fitts has a chance to immediately make an impact as a situational pass rusher. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s Floyd’s running mate for years to come, provided he stays healthy.

I think I was the only one here screaming for Aaron Lynch and I'm really glad Pace signed him. With that being said, he and Floyd both have dealt w/ injuries so I wouldn't be surprised if Fitts ends up as the starter in week 10 or so.
I've got a good vibe with Fitts, he could be our best pure pass rusher and if Fangio can design some rushes around him and put him in good situations he could have a good year. That's the most exciting thing, talent means nothing when you don't have the coaches to cultivate it. Fangio with some talent is exciting.
I think you can make a good case for everyone, but Wims, who I think only stands a chance if AR gets hurt.
Fitts will be in a early rotation of pass rushers w/Floyd/Lynch and himself, and thats even if he stays healthy Iggy will likely be the 3rd or 4th ILB, depending on how often Nick K moves to OLB.
Nichols I think people might be sleeping on, he is probably Hicks backup, and if Bullard/RRH doesn't show capable of starting(which neither really have) Nichols could end up a starter w/out injury.
