What, you don't like facts? Why is it that so many fans are so unwilling to see truth. Have all of you got your heads stuck this far up your asses.
For Christ sake the headline is Haugh being sarcastic. Don't tell me you couldn't even figure that out? All Haugh did was lay out some simple facts. Players play and coaches coach but do players play only as THEY choose to play or do they play as their coached to play?
Come on man. You've played enough ball in your day to know the answer to that one. Why is the obvious so hard to some fans to see?
When the battle is lost was it the soldiers who didn't fight well enough and gave their lives or is it the general's whose strategies never gave them a shot at winning to begin with?
If you think it's the soldiers then I hope to hell you aren't the guy commanding the troops if I have to fight that battle.
Its fine to be angry with 'the team', but I really dont see why are you getting angry with optimistic fans, or homers if you will, its not that we can make a difference either way
Alex if I can't strongly state my views without someone whose known me for awhile thinking I'm angry with them personally then I may as well take a few more weeks off my friend. It's part of who I am and if JABF and I were sitting next to one another gabbing over beers I would not have said it any differently or in any other tone of voice.
The fact that David Haugh wrote it and some don't like Haugh is immaterial. The facts are the facts and tomorrow Rosenrant will probably write one with enough facts that I will find some truth in as well. Let me remind you that I've also criticized David Haugh when he was whining like a little bitch. I call 'em as I see 'em and I always will.

So he referenced the 2014 55-14 debacle vs. Green Bay that prompted McCaskey to part ways with Tresty . A 2014 team that INCLUDED Forte and Bennett and Marshall ... so so much for that line of thinking .
