I doubt it. People keep saying that and ignoring that teams #6 thru #10 are no threat to draft QB and every GM knows that. The Bears sit smack dab in the middle of that 5 team pack so what makes the 8th pick so special?
It's the teams behind Buffallo that might be willing to move in front of them that might scare them into jumping. *see Bears last year moving up for Trubs.

That’s a lot of stuff that has to happen. Don’t count on it. The Bears moved up ONE spot last year because they were receiving calls for theirs and knew SF would make the deal if they didn’t. Completely different situation. If Buffalo decides to move ahead of Miami, expect them to move to Denver (5) or Indy (6).

exactly my point ric
ya it's kind of valid, but it likely wouldn't be to 8, but I could be wrong also. My guess is they'd do a small jump to 10 over a big jump to 8. If the bears have a group of 8 they want, and non are qb's, and 3 are taken, I could see them being willing to drop back to 12 knowing they could still get 1 knowing another qb is coming off the board at 8.
I'd be just as happy for them to stand pat, but 5 of your wants is there, and you drop back 4 you are still in a good position, and you also garner more picks that's never a bad thing when it comes to something that most say is at best 50-50(the draft).

Well Indy or Den would have to want to move also. Again imo if they Buf moves it will be a small move to 10, not a move to 8. I don't think it takes much for a team to know other teams might want the last good QB in the draft and will be willing to jump them. It's just a matter of how much they want to move. I think 8 is maximum though b/c I doubt they want to give up both their firsts, if they did they could have done it w/the first trade.
