No and apparently before the draft some teams saw him as a OL, its possible KC was one of those teams.dude is 6 6 320, so if he isnt working out at the 5 tech why not move him?

Not necessarily. I think Whitehair is as good or better at LG as at C (yes, they do need to give him a position this offseason and leave him there). I wouldn't mind at all drafting a C and there's some really good prospects out there who will make it to late day-2 and even early day-3. Ragnow is one in particular I'd love to get in the mid-rounds.
Advantage of this strategy is that you have 3 shots at solidifying the position--rookie draft pick, Kush, and Grasu. Winner is the starter, 2nd place is the backup (prob Kush), 3rd place (prob Grasu) hits the road.
