Well Trubs has the weapons this coming season. No excuses.
That I completely agree with. The D has been completely shortchanged and almost all resources given to the O. No excuses for Nagy, Trub, and the O not to produce now.
Ultra-competitive and highly productive, Miller plays with a chip on his shoulder that has driven him to out-work the man across from him. While he played both inside and out for Memphis, some teams could struggle with figuring out his best fit. His inconsistent hands are definitely a concern, but his ability to get open and to work all three levels of the field increase his chances for success as a WR3.
Strengths
Rapid-fire stutter steps and head fakes defeat outside and inside leverage
Effective setting up route-stems
Accelerates out of cuts creating throwing window
Scratches and claws over top of press and has early quickness to stack them
Can work inside or outside and has been effective on all three levels
Former walk-on with elevated level of competitiveness
Field fast throughout the route
Top notch ball tracker whose focus sharpens down the field
Body adjustments to haul in challenging catches is excellent
Works with scrambling quarterbacks
Slick with his feet near the sideline
Creates yardage after the catch
Everything that Cam is not, Miller is. Not that Cam or what he is is bad, for a guy like Cutler and Fox/Gase/Loggains Cam is the guy you want and he excels. Miller is what Nagy wants and that will fit w/how they want Trub to work.
Trading up is debatable, the trade is debateable, but the pick is perfect for the scheme.
Gil Brandt had him as the 57th best player in this draft. Bears got him at 51. So a little early, but really not a bad value.
Good to know. Tell us more about what Nagy likes.
He's told you plenty of times if you listened to his pressers and watched what the Bears have picked. If you don't understand by now it might be an issue on the recieving end not on the giving end.

Yeah. I'm sure that's it.
Well lets see, AR 15, fast. Tyler Gabriel, Fast. Anthony Miller, Fast. But ya apparently he doesn't want fast WR's. Go back and look at KC's WR's...fast. He has said in his pressers he wants fast. But keep telling me how that's not what he wants even though he's stated it and the Bears have acted on it.

he said it was not a fit issue. Despite your knowing what the Bears are thinking even before they do themselves, I will take him at his word.

He is not a fit. How is that different then what iv'e said? other then i've specified that it's speed; b/c kc's wr's are fast; and b/c the Bears FA WR's are fast, and they just drafted a WR that is fast. Glad you are finally taking him at his word, mo's after he said what he wanted and mo's after FA showed you what he wanted. Words + Actions = fact.
