He wrote several times last offseason that Fuller wouldn't even make the final 53 and the team had "moved on". He missed it by a mile.
The guys info isn't as dialed in as he'd like you to believe and he can be dead wrong just like the rest of us.
I agree. Not sure I agree about the "like the rest of us." Biggs is connected to the Bears. Unless I missed something, no one here is. So while he can be 'dead wrong' the quantity of times he's "dead wrong" are a lot fewer than the number of times casual fans or internet board fans are "dead wrong." Perhaps a different way to put it - while Biggs might be dead wrong in his inferences, he is basing his inferences off a hell of a lot more evidence and inside knowledge than any of us are.
I enjoy Bigg's mailbag. I value his information and his intellect. I appreciate to OP for providing this information. It's good stuff.
I really enjoy Biggs, but I understand that he is usually a bit of a "glass half full" kind of guy. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's refreshing compared to the chicken-little writers whom continually tell us the sky is falling.

I like reading his stuff too, JABF. I just take it with a grain of salt and not as clairvoyant gospel. I don't think Biggs has any more "inside knowledge" than any other Bears reporter. And he seems to be really politically correct to me--like he very rarely says anything potentially controversial or critical of Bears leadership.
So when he doesn't give the answers we like we give him the hub treatment. Gotcha.
Oh hey he was wrong this one time so he has no clue when I don't like his responses in the future. I only point this out bc jabf normally posts his stuff but nothing about his ignorance was ever brought up until he pointed out Meredith wasnt a huge loss.
Huh? Have you read his mailbag columns? They're 80% obvious answers to often really dumb questions.
Re: Meredith No one said he was a "huge loss". We are questioning why Pace didn't find a way to keep a homegrown, young, ascending UDFA player (CJones too) when he did find a way to keep Dion Sims who we all pretty much agree is garbage. If you want to believe that Brad Biggs has some sort of unquestionable, infallible "insider" knowledge then feel free. I don't buy that at all. He's just making educated guesses and he's been notably wrong before. Other reporters and analysts disagree with him on this one as well and think it was a poor decision. I've noticed Biggs rarely criticizes team management even when warranted--he's pretty "political".
And, BTW, maybe it's just bravado or maybe the Bears misjudged things, but Cam himself says he will be ready:
If he's not huge loss there's no reason to keep him to begin with. Definitely not worth all the questioning of the GM.
Biggs answering questions is relegated to the questions that are being asked; and more then likely trying to sum up the majority of the questions being asked. Chicago Football fans in the Chicago area being morons limits him to answering stupid questions. And btw, no reporter is going to get all of info right, many are knowingly used as tools by the team to hide what they want, or get a reaction from the player they want. They can only go w/what they are being told, or by watching the teams actions. Fuller last year for example, obviously by signing Cooper and Prince they were signalling they weren't planning on Fuller as their future. This year, they went out and got 2 starting WR's, then re signed depth/st's ace Bellamy; and low tendered Cam. Clearly they weren't that interested in him as anything more then depth.
The day before he said he had no timetable for recovery. So maybe he'll be ready week 1, but it doesn't sound like he'll be ready for TC, so will he really be ready for week 1?
