I found this on my facebook feed and thought it was a bit perplexing. How much does Fox pay attention? Is this the DC's job and all Fox does is oversee his coaches? Does he help with filling in the ranks of players on the field? Is he even there? Do we have an impostor in our midst..sent here to deliberately fack us up? looking at you ptisme ...... Anyways discussion worthy..
Fox has so much on his mind right now, just trying to keep the plane in the air - and I think he just had a brain fart. It happens. Nothing to get concerned about, IMHO.
Vic Fangio is also on top of everything. I'm not worried about the defense. I worry about the injuries though.

Same here, however, I hope there are no health issues with Fox.

He looks remarkably good for his age. I just think he and Pace took on a monster-sized challenge when they agreed to come to Chicago. Both will make their share of mistakes here, even if they are solid managing and coaching. Us fans (me included) get frustrated and impatient, wanting to get the Bears quickly fixed, and we get upset when we see mistakes made. It's like we all put these two guys under a microscope and critique everything to the 10th-degree :-)
I'm trying to calm myself down and breathe. This isn't going to be a quick turnaround here. I do believe we have a GM and HC (and certainly the D-coordinator) to eventually fix the Chicago Bears. But it's going to be a tough ride for fans and Pace/Fox.
I'm in it for the long haul no matter what happens. LOL, I fell off the bandwagon but crawled back up for the rest of the season :-)

I'm with you.. Look how Theo Epstein built the Cubs... It is going to take time. We still need to remain calm and patient.

Hopefully he realized he was coaching the Bears and not the Eagles..... come to think of it, maybe we would have had the advantage if he thought he was coaching the Eagles. I'll have to think about that :-)

Too late for that I think. It's either crashed already or not even off the runway. It all depends on how you choose to see it.
If it's the HC's job to see that his team is ready and prepared to play on all three units prior to the first game then I would call that stuck on the runway. But after the Philly game and once again getting a lead we couldn't keep and getting trashed again at home I'd call that a crash.
The only question in my mind now is whose gonna walk away from that pile of debris and whose not.
