Obviously we need to fix RT. I was hoping the Long issue was settled, but whenever you see a problem there, it keeps creeping back. Do we move him yet again? If he has an injured shoulder (and I think he does), playing at T could wreck him. He is going to have to extend the arm more there than when he plays G since you are more boxed in.
Nah. Leave him at OG and play Adams. If Adams is no better activate a PS guy. No one could possibly be any worse than Massie. If I was the GM I'd just cut him a check for the rest of his $6 mil and give him ride to the airport. He's not fixable. It's was a piss poor move to even sign him. Mills is grading out better playing in Buffalo. Hell I'd even take Webb over Massie.
I have to be honest....I don't think Long is doing that great at guard right now...why put him at tackle?
That was my first thought too. Something must be wrong (injury or something) for Long to look like he did last night.
Massie was so bad I think Long was trying to cover for him as well, but his shoulder injury might be hampering him more than we thought.
I say no to moving Long again. He needs to stay at one position. Too much musical chairs can mess with ya. With his injury, he needs to stay inside anyway where it's one on one close up, instead of outside having to reach.
What's is everyone talking about Massie is doing a great job better then he has in the past. All the reviews stated that Massie rated very low in pass blocking and Pace as well as 30 other GM read the same reviews, but Pace in the GM that signed him anyways
Said it when we signed Massie, he is shit. He was shit at Cardinals and the fans were glad he was gone. I dont know what they saw in him, but Jordan Mills were actually better imo. We need tackle QB OLB DE in that order.
That said, no dont move Long to T. Rather but him on IR and get him healed up for the next season because this is a waste of a good football player.
