It's not just Cutler. The entire team has struggled to play 60 minutes of football for the last 18 games. Just like last week we're a missed FG from being up 10-9 at half time the other guys make some half time adjustments, we don't and it looks like two different teams in the second half. Besides, if ESPN published we all know it won't be complimentary to Cutler or the Bears.
Tonight he should have taken himself out of the game before he did. He injured that thumb much earlier in the game which is why we saw a couple of passes fall far short of the mark. I knew then something was wrong. He never throws like that. Those balls skipped off the ground way short of their targets. If he's out for a bit you'll get to see Hoyer at QB. Enjoy that if you can.
Ill get no enjoyment of watching hoyer i didnt want hoyer on this team. And there is zero reason why he should be.
They needed to draft the backup in the first 3 rds in the last 2 years and bc fox is more in charge then the gm they have ignored it(see lovie and angelo after the sb but worse).

That would be enjoyable.
Like I said Ric. Any QB you put in charge of that offense will fail. I never thought that after Gase left it could get this bad again but I was wrong. Fox lucked out with Mike McCoy and Gase as his OCs out here and another OC as his QB. Now he has none of that and his true weakness as a HC is glaring like a 10,000w spot light.
There is nothing at all even remotely enjoyable about watching what I saw again tonight so once again until they can produce a team that is enjoyable to watch I'll go back to watching NCIS episodes on Netflix and some music documentaries.
I'll be mailing it in about the same way Foxy and his offense has been mailing it in for the last two weeks.
I have watched them less and less over the past four years and I don't really miss it. I've reached the point of apathy. It's fun to analyze something that's happening and growing but there's nothing happening there. It's just "different day, same old shit" and continuing to have nothing but criticism and loathing sucks so color me mostly MIA. There's just not much to say any longer.
We can bitch about David Haugh all we want but his column on the game said it best. All the Bears did last night was give their fans nothing to look forward to until the next draft. I believe that and this time we may be drafting in the top five. That'll get you your QB at least.
