I sold my tickets to this Cleveland game the day after we lost to Green Bay in that pathetic post-bye debacle-of-a-performance. Glad I did then because the market value has steadily decreased since. I knew the season was over at that point.
So you gonna buy them back at $13? Then sell at $11 and buy back again at $8?
Who needs bitcoin when you have Bears tickets to speculate on. No bigger roller coaster ride than that.
If they traded on the CBOE I'd go short @ $13 even now.

Sweaty Teddy, is that you? (the man is a genius I tell ya)
My father-in-law actually just texted me a couple hours ago saying he could get 6 free tickets to the game from work, wondering if I was interested. I can't go because we already have plans, but I was surprised how NOT disappointed I was about not being able to go.

Unfortunately, this short term stuff does not affect the Bears. They already sold out their season tickets at their price. They made their money. When the price goes down, the fans lose. Not them.
Now, once they can't sell out the tickets, then it hurts them. But even there the cards are stacked. People hope next year will be the year, so they buy based on hope for the next season. So they get their money up front no matter what the season looks like. If they do well, then demand for tickets goes up during the season and they still sell them. Only under the circumstance of sustained long term suck, will people stop betting on the future and still not want them during the year. We have had several bad years and it still has not caught up to them. Not sure if it will or not.

Well, at least he didn't overpay. He got them at market price.
