This just came from the Chicago Tribune about 10 minutes ago. This is definitely an article better viewed on the Trib web site (excellent charts and graphs of data), so follow the link to read it best.
LINK to the entire Trib article Are a few more Bears wins enough to save coach John Fox? The numbers aren't pretty Was the Bears victory over the Bengals on Sunday enough to save the job of head coach John Fox, who in his three seasons has ranked among the worst Bears coaches ever?
With three games left in the season, the numbers aren't pretty.
Fox came to Chicago fresh off four solid seasons with the Denver Broncos and a long run with the Carolina Panthers. But that pattern of success hasn't emerged in Chicago, and now Fox is on the hot seat.
LINK Is it possible John Fox could return next year? If I am the Bears, I put feelers out to my top 1-2 choices for head coach and if there isn’t any interest I just stick with Fox for one more year. If Mitch Trubisky continues to develop and the team is competitive the last couple of games the noise will certainly be turned down for Fox to be fired. If your top choices are not interested, why settle for a second tier choice? Is it a forgone conclusion Fox is out this year? — Dave A.
There are still three games remaining and I doubt a final, final determination has been made by ownership and general manager Ryan Pace on the future. If the Bears win their final four games to finish 7-9, there would certainly have to be some consideration, especially if the offense plays well down the stretch. But I think you’re either making a coaching change or not making a coaching change. It would be difficult to target just one or two potential options and do that without firing the coach first.

David A and Biggsy should both stick it up their butts. Focks got a reprieve this year and what happened? Does anyone believe a 4th year would turn out differently? Would he somehow invent a new offense, have his teams better prepared, know when NOT to challenge a call and when to call time outs?
I've been down this road of giving more chances before and it did not turn out well at all. Stick a fork in him. He's done.
