No Chance. His firing was sealed with the loss to the 49ers.
Now that we beat the Bengals with Trubisky throwing and running, you see that Fox is the reason for this Teams failures. Fox is the Coach and the Coaching lost them more than they've won. Why couldn't he trust Mitchell earlier than this game - after being done for good? Fox deserves to be fired and Mitchell has shown promise. That will help getting your first or second choice instead of taking whats left.

Well said brother. Especially what I bold faced.
Focks has held the reins on that offense and Mitch made that clear when he said Loggains trusted him and they were doing all that Focks allowed. There have been times when we've all speculated that Loggains was not as dumb or inefficient as his play calling would lead some to believe. We've seen this before in other games. Today the chains imposed by Focks came off.
Shaheen even got his shot again and had for catches out of five targets and a TD. The guy should have been used a red zone menace all year but wasn't. That's on Focks. This kid was drafted to be another Gronk or Gresham but instead of at least using him as a receiver while he learned his blocking assignments he sat just as Trubisky was hamstrung by crappy game plans.
No one should even think about this game or any other getting Focks off the hook for all that's taken place prior to this. He's been that old coot driving 50 mph in the left lane of the interstate where the speed limit is 75 mph. If anything this game showed that even hurt the Bears have more talent than they've ever shown under Focks. He needs to go on Black Monday.
I would imagine that even Pace doesn't want Fox back next year, because he may get a "free pass" this time but if he kept Fox on for his last year and the Bears suck again at the start he might be joining Fox in the unemployed list.
I think the Bears are intelligent enough (I use that very lightly) to know that Fox's time has now come and gone. The NFL is different now, you need an offense to win games and a defense to keep you in them. If you don't score points then your season is over before it's even begun.
Fox is old school, the Bears need a new school mind.

I doubt it. Pace's job is now safe but I'm afraid it's too late for Fox & Co. We might win on Christmas day but I don't see us beating Detroit and Minny on the road.

yes, IMO, Fox is a much greater contributor to the way the team has played than the talent. The talent is not going to win a SB, but it is much better than we have seen displayed on Sundays. Once Fox gets out of the way, there will be a jump.
