Amazing how well the Bears play, and how well the bears coaches coach when the shoe is on the other foot for the other team huh? Olin/Big Cat are talking about it now, when both teams are missing their talent and both teams on equal footing the Bears and their coaches looked pretty good.
+1 That is an excellent point. This was against a crippled Cincinnati Bungles team. In week-14 of the season. We act like we won the Super Bowl against the Patriots. LOL. We are a 4-win team now. Hurray for us :-(
You missed the point JABF. Fans cannot have it both ways, if we are going to give excuses regarding the Bears about injuries, then we have to for the Bengals, but if you are not, then you cannot talk about how Cincy was all beat up; b/c the Bears were even more beat up then they were.
Bears beat up a club that was as hurt as the Bears were and they took them to task; that's a positive for where this team is. Of course their backups and backups of backups aren't going play great week in and week out, especially against mostly healthy teams. But when the weights are leveled they play really well. It's positive.
I don't think anyone is acting like they won a SB or beat a good team, but they beat up on a bad team, and that's a positive step forward, sure to hell better then getting pounded by them which is what appears most thought would happen.

No, I agree with that. We beat a bad team. Actually, I thought we could beat the 49ers the week before too. We have been beaten by bad teams and we have beaten one ourself now. We should pound the Browns too. I hope we do, anyway.
