Well, I guess that anyone that thinks we are a good team that only looked bad because we got beat by the best team has forgotten how we look against lesser team. But there is good news ahead. We should beat the 49ers, and there will be some that will claim that it shows that we are a good team. Let the debates continue....
No one is saying they are a good team now. But they aren't the Browns; and the Bears have a base to build into a good team as soon as next year; you can see that in how they are competing in just about every game.

oh definitely. Every time I watch them, I stand tall and proud. I even call some Packers fans and talk shit to them. You know.... about how good they are looking.
Looking awful, incompetent, unprepared, and undisciplined while doing it and
Three years into a rebuild looking not much better off than you were at the start.
If you can't see this team is better than they were 3 years ago you're blind. This team has been close almost every game this year despite losing multiple starters and starting an inexperienced rookie QB with a bunch of special teams guys as WRs. Do we have holes on this team? Yes but we also have lot's of things in place. Two playmaking RBs, an up and coming QB, a solid interior OL, a promising TE prospect, some strong pieces on the DL, and some young talent in the backfield. Did we have any of that in any quantity when Pace got here?
One blowout loss to what is the likely the best team in the league isn't something to worry about. Barring some bizarre series of events we weren't walking out of there looking pretty. It's not even as if we're the only team they did it to.
The team may be better than it was at the end of the Emery-Trestman era (how could it not be?) but I’m not sure it’s enough better yet. After 3 years of “rebuilding” and 3 years of high draft picks, we shouldn’t be the rest of the league’s easy win week and we shouldn’t be staring at yet another 4 win season.
The vast majority of us here, me included, felt in August that 7-8 wins was a realistic goal for this year. The first half of the season was tough but that’s balanced by the 2nd half being totally cream puff. With Rodgers out and Cincinnati struggling this year, there’s only 2 opponents of the last 8 that will finish over 500. 2 of them are clearly the 2 worst teams in the entire NFL. Yet, 5-11 is our realistic ceiling and only 3-4 wins is very possible.
Thats a little disappointing for “better” than the 5-11 we put up in Trestman’s last season.

No, the Browns are a worse franchise. They have no wins and play in a conference against teams we've beaten THIS YEAR, including the division leader. It's not close imo, but yeah I'm tired of losing the the Packers.
