No Bears HC in history with a 3 season losing record has ever returned for a 4th year shot. Focks has the 2nd worst record of any Bears HC in history. We will NOT finish 10-6 and make the playoffs nor win a Super Bowl. Nuff said.
If Pace won't stand up and fire him then he needs to go as well. The mob has assembled with torches lit.
1-5 against the Packers 1-4 against the Vikings 1-3 against the Lions 12-29 since being a Bears HC
If you can't beat your division rivals you're not going to make it far in the NFL. He's also running out of excuses for his horrible record. The team he has now is much more talented then the Trestman era team yet we have a worse record.
I doubt he will be back, but yes, I have always sweated the details, and yes I do worry about it. Not only do I think that T is being desensitized to an aggressive passing game, I think he has helped Fox hold on. In the end, I think he will go, but I'll relax only after it happens.

I worry about it a bit too. The Bears have a way for voodoo stuff like this to happen. I can just see it. Win a bit down the stretch. Team looking better. Fox will point out how the team was fighting and games are "close" and "competitive"... and Sweaty Teddy doesn't have to eat any of the coaching staff guaranteed money while paying for a new coaching staff.
I'm not saying it will happen. But I won't completely breathe easy until it's a done deal.

Yep, that should be his death knell. 3-12 in the NFCN and probably 3-13 after this weekend. Reverse that and any HC could right his own ticket for an extension but this a license to be let go and Fochs knows it too.
He said it himself. It's a results driven business and his are poor. Very substandard.

The ONLY way I can see Focks back in 2018 is if every other HC candidate turns them down. So.....I'm not worried.
Really depends on what happens w/his OCs also. If Fangio is leaving b/c he doesn't want to work w/Fox(has been rumors but not substantiated) and he has to replace his OC(b/c he's a ginormous fail) then might as well let fox go also. If Fang is leaving for a shot at a HC job, then why not simply promote Fang and let Fox go; again you need a new OC anyways. The only real reason to keep Fox is to make sure you keep Fangio and hope that Loggains was a rare miss in what is normally hits for his coordinators.
It also depends on who they think they might be able to get to replace him. Fox has been a disappointment for some, not me I didn't expect much from this team over the last few years regardless of coach, and I didn't want Fox for that reason, if HH is tired of it then I'll be more then happy. But if they win 8 games and have normally looked respectable even in losses I could see where they migth keep him. We might not like him but the players seem to and that will count for something.
Well to add to the reasons to fire him...and thought of making a thread about this in game stat.
Week 11 before your team scores a single point on their opening drive...imo this is a sign of some major piss poor game-planning regardless of the teams talent level...
