At least they didn't screw too much with tradition here. All that really changes is the Bears won't be wearing white pants and their socks will be different and the Pack won't be wearing their yellow pants (sorry I just can't call THAT color gold) and will be in all white instead.
If I recall we've been in all navy before and if we're gonna use an alternative uni I'd much rather this one then those throwbacks we've been saddled with at times.
The all navy look has been done before and the all white look ( Don't know if the packers did that before ) doesn't hurt the eyes.
We've seen the Bears in all white but I have never seen the Packers in all white before even going back to the '60s and '70s. Their yellow pants are as much a trademark now as the C is on the Bears helmet. At least they didn't have them wearing all yellow and the Bears all orange which is more like what they've done with some of those other color rush uni's. To me those look ridiculous. It's like watching a JUCO college game. Ugh.
I don't like the orange jerseys either. Orange should stay our trim color and not be used as a main color.
packers colors may be called green and gold, but yellow is not gold. Yellow is yellow, as in the yellow streak of cowardice, or Piss Yellow. You want to see gold? Look at Notre Dame's uniforms. That's gold.
