It's actually a brilliant Fox plan unfolding before our very eyes. Kickers throwing passes. Our 2nd pick of the draft QB catching laterals. Receiving TEs relegated to blockers - even though they can't block. OL changing positions more often than I change my underwear (okay, maybe that's too much information there). But the end-game is to get the high draft pick next year. BIH, you realize what is happening here? John Fox is implementing your plan to tank the season for the high draft pick.
It's brilliant :-)
Does he actually think he can outdo the brilliance of the Hester package? Me thinks no way Jose!!
The Hester package is the 8th wonder of the world. Nothing is going to touch that.

You are making that shit up. I never had a plan to tank the season. Only hoping that during the course of player development, we would lose enough games to get a high pick and get a QB.
+1 I gotta wonder if Fox is on this messageboard and stole your idea. You realize you are the power now behind the throne... or something like that :-)
Next game I'm expecting Tarik Cohen to be used as an offensive lineman. Probably at LT. He's too short for a C (Trubisky can't get down that low for the snaps).

That's actually a play that the Logg came up with. He told Cohen to run straight at the DL and when he did, his helmet would probably hit him in the nuts and he'd stop him in his tracks. I have no idea how Logg would know that.
That's exactly what begs the question. He came in as a supposed passing threat that needed work on his blocking. We desperately need a passing threat and we only allow him to learn to block. A head scratcher. The two do not need to be mutually exclusive. Especially when we are so starved for targets for the passing game.

Barf throws a 98 yard bomb for a TD!!!
(the new Fox plan)
I heard my name called. Someone in need of a Mawg?
Well, the bearswire article quotes him as kind of exclusively learning to block which is a handy skill.

People want proof that the caoches are trying to develop these guys, well this is developing Shaheen. Kind of lets you know the team isn't so worried about winning right now.
That being said, If you listen to Hub on 670 he said that when you watch Shaheen is getting beat by safeties in his routes, so he needs some work and polish as a WR. Guess that started now also.

I think Fox IS worried about winning right now. I have read several articles saying that the Bears did not want to play T but Fox did (which is the opposite of what you would think). I think he would have been better served developing on the #2 team, but Fox could not win with Glennon and is playing T.
Didn't know that about Shaheen. Hopefully they can develop him because if he gets beat right out of the gate, he won't be of much use to us. He needs to learn how to use that big body of his.
yeah, i don't trust coaches to be using players where they are best suited. doesn't mean i know better, but i am not going to be shocked if some guy comes off the bench and is outplaying the guy he's replaced.
