WATCH: Kyle Long decleats J.J. Watt during Bears' Week 1 game Dec 1, 2013; Minneapolis, MN, USA; By: Bryan Perez | 58 minutes ago
The Chicago Bears played a competitive game against the Houston Texans in Week 1 of the 2016 NFL season, especially in the first half. The Texans adjusted at halftime, however, and consistently pressured and hit Jay Cutler throughout the final two quarters.
The Bears’ offensive line struggled mightily to slow the elite Houston pass rush, especially on the right side where Bobby Massie looked more like a subway turnstile than an NFL offensive lineman.
It wasn’t all bad, though. After the Bears signed left guard Josh Sitton a few days before the regular season opener, it was expected that he’d pair with Kyle Long to form one of the NFL’s truly elite duos at the position. Neither player disappointed in Week 1.
In fact, Long did his part to help Massie when he was blocking J.J. Watt. While Watt is considered one of the quickest and most powerful players in the NFL, Long proved on one play that he packs quite a punch too:
While the Bears certainly aren’t happy with the loss in Week 1, there were some intriguing moments like the one above that suggest they’ll be a tough squad all year long.
Chicago will face the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 2 on Monday Night Football, a game which will feature the Bears’ defense as it stalks rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.
Sorry I could link the video itself but it's worth watching several times. As big as JJ is Kyle just levels him and makes sure he stays leveled. "Kong" is a beast.
When I saw that on game day it made me happy knowing we got a guy like Long on our line. Hopefully we can build up this line to a Cowboy's level of O-line.

How you do dat? I could not get the link to post to save my rather large white ass. Thanks brother. It broke my heart not to be able to show that but it did my heart good to see it. JJ is a pretty big guy but Kyle makes even him look a little smaller and less dangerous. And it was like not only are you going down BAM! but your staying down SLAM! LOL
PS; Sitton did a nice job of helping Leno out on Clowney too.

Works all the time.
Ah ha, that's the secret. I can usually just grab the video link and in this case it would post but not show up. Ya' gotta take it from the tweet instead. Well since I don't use Twitter I'm a little behind in those sort of technical skills. Now I'll know. I owe ya' one.
