Bears promote Timu to active roster, waive McBride Sept 23, 2017 18:37:29 GMT -6

We have one of the worst receiving corps in the league and yet another promising young WR has to go to make room for a mediocre/average LB who usually plays only ST?

And here I thought maybe Glennon needed a few more weapons to improve his game.

To be honest I'm not sure why they even signed him and then shoved Gentry to the PS. I don't know whose making all of these decision but to me it looks like he's either drunk or high and at one time or another I've been both so I have some personal insight in this matter. LOLOL

McBride was a guy w/potential coming out of college but did nothing w/his last team. WR needy team looked his way and he couldn't make it here either. Maybe he just isn't that good.

This team needs to go heavy in FA and draft next year at WR and DB and OLB. And on top of that OG/OT/OLB/ILB/DL for depth/starting potential down the road players.

Not sure why this is a surprising move. Freeman and Kwitowski are injured, and Trevathan has a history of injuries. Since Kwit. was an invaluable STeamer, and considering Jones is a depth piece at OLB as well as ILB, that leaves little depth at ILB and it leaves a hole in Steams - especially given Bellamy is getting so many reps as a WR.

I'd have been more surprised if they didn't bring up Timu who can play STeams and ILB.
