Well, the NFL did the Bears a big favor. Go against the tough teams first.
So we end up winning a few meaningless games at the end of the year, showing "improvement", and that would be enough for 🦊 to keep his job. Thats not a big favor in my mind...
Ha ha well Chicago will exhale for about two more games but after a trashing by Green Bay that'll be about it for the exhaling. About then the fierce screams for somebodies head will begin in earnest. This is just the warm up phase.

That's about it. Hard to imagine the Bears not losing the next 2 with at least 1 of them being a total beat down.

I agree. But I've been thinking all week about how crazy things sometimes happen in the NFL. It will be interesting to see the reaction if we win this next game against the Steelers. I know. That's impossible. But the impossible sometimes happens on gameday.

I always have hope and I'm always disappointed. It makes the past 9 victories all the better. If the DEF can hold, get a pick and a few sacks, if the OFF can generate anything... if if if...

If we stop turning the ball over and stop making stupid penalties, we would be so much better. It's hard to win when you're giving the opponent constant help via the penalties and turnovers.

There is a reason why I don't like to gamble with money on the NFL. I could be fitted for cement shoes and see the Chicago River.
