Jaelen Strong's run in Houston is over! Go get him Pace, today
Exactly!!!!
As far as this team goes - I' probably won't waste another Sunday until I hear Glennon isn't the starter. It just isn't worth it - getting mad/upset/stressed over a shit product that Pace us put together. Fox sucks. Dowell sucks worse (what kind of idiot gets away from pounding the rock when you have the 2nd leading rusher from the year before on your team?), and Glennon is the worst.

I'm actually forward to Glennon hitting Thompson long on the first series for a 60+ yard TD, but then nothing else after that, Bears lose 27-14. Glennon 31-48 for 298 yards, 2 TDs, 2 picks.
Narrative out of HH and from various posters/friends/family will be that Glennon can throw long when the circumstances are right and that there is no need to rush Mitch onto the field. I'm not mentioning any injuries because I don't want to jinx anyone.
Another blowout game with at least 2 turnovers by Glennon. Fox still refuses to play Trubs and the cycle continues.
So pretty much, same old same old.
Instead of rookie growing pains mistakes by Trubisky I prefer to see crippling, avoidable, inexcusable veteran mistakes by a low ceiling veteran in Glennon.

- Big Ben, Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant vs. Demps, Cooper and Fuller. - Le'Veon Bell vs. Jones and Anderson. - Glennon vs. Ryan Shazier, Bud Dupree and Watt. - Our OL vs. Cameron Hayward, Stephon Tuitt, Vernon Hargrave. - Bellamy, Wright & Thompson vs. Joe Haden, Artie Burns, Sean Davis and Mike Mitchell.
Could get ugly.
You make it sound like teams need talent to win; everyone knows you just need good coaches; hmm shit we got 1 and he only playcalls for the def....

Ok, here is what I want to see from this game.
- No more "bend but don't break" defence. I want to see secondary lined up aggressively breaking up plays and stopping them quickly. Let their defence be the one that gets gassed this week. I'm happy to trade the risk of some long scores.
- A balanced offense that has the confidence to take what the Steelers give them. If they stack the box like Atlanta and Tampa Bay then please lets have the confidence to throw it downfield. We have to extend some drives and get more points. If they don't trust Glennon to open up the passing game against a stacked box then please start Sanchez or Trubisky. If we can force them to stop selling out against the run then by all means lets hit them with Howard and Cohen.
- Minimize injuries. I don't want to see any more core players get significantly injured. If people aren't ready to come back then lets get someone else in. If players are too gassed then get them a break.
