Ive read it, as always he says Sitton USED to be a pro-bowler, has back injuries and was too expensive, that this was a good move for them long-term... The usual
Porker fans will never admit they may have made mistake letting him go and even less so when it's the Bears who signed him. It's obligatory for them to make claims of injuries being worse than they are, or he was too costly and going downhill, or his feet stunk and he didn't love Jesus, or whatever. It is never acceptable for the Bears to have gotten away with one on them.
Their approach to it is always gonna be something like Sitton? "Oh, he's our 3 time Pro Bowl OG or at least he was until you signed the aging, overpriced, injured dilapidated wreck he's become."
How do I know this. The three simple words which can be found in a text message from my oldest daughter which starts with "He's hurt but we still should have kept him"......."The Bears suck". LOLOL
According to my grandson the "hurt" is listed as a foot injury which smacks of being related to the toe injury he's been dealing with since 2014 and has caused him to miss......wait for it, zero games.
The thing is, Peckers (and their fans) are delusional, the truth of the matter is that Packers suck
It is invaluable the experience that Sitton has regarding his playing in the NFC North. the rest of the OL can learn a few tricks of the trade and become better players because of it. He must be a good Character player judging by the response from a few GB fans. I would love to hear what Pitisme (that his name) would have to say about this.

Perfect. Then it's a win/win deal because short term he's exactly what we needed until we can finish rebuilding the OL with a few more young draftees. Now if only he can help us beat them twice this year.

Ha ha. Well first of all they do live a very sheltered existence up there in the tundra. Believe me. In it's own unique way it's a bit like North Korea with a benevolent dictator for a mayor and not that kid "Fat Panda" who runs the DPRK.
Nothing bad or critical shall ever be allowed to be said or written about the Porkers less their illusion of invincibility be shattered. Conversely nothing good can ever be said or written about the Bears under threat of torture such as no beer and Friday Night Fish Fry for you for a year!
Whenever I talk football with a few of my old friends the sheer amount of twisted thinking and bad stats they use to rationalize that thinking is almost overwhelming. The adults have been brainwashed for so long they're hopeless as evidenced by my daughter which is why when I actually want the straight skinny I ask my grandson whose also a staunch Catholic and therefor has had it drilled into him not to lie to his parents or even worse God forbid, his grandfather.
So I can always pull rank on Joe and get the whole story behind the PR being put out by the team and the local media. If Bo knows football well then Joe knows even more football. The kid plays it and when not playing he eats and sleeps it so he can dream it too. He's been playing Madden since he was about 5 and probably quote anyone who asks the Madden rating of all of the players in it's data base. I know a fair amount about football in general but this kid could skunk me in his sleep. If I want Porker info he's the one I ask.
So while it's entirely possible that Sitton's Pro Bowl days have passed he's so much better than the other vet alternatives we had in for camp and preseason that it's not even close. I'll take a Kyle Long with a damaged "wing" and Josh Sitton with a bad "big toe" over our other alternatives any day and if by mid season Whitehair proves what Foxy is saying about him is right by November and December we should be winning more games than we lose.
