Anyone planning on going to training camp this year?

I used to bring my kids when they were young.  We are empty-nest parents now, so my wife is good to go with me.  We liked going on weekdays more than weekends.  And we treated it almost like a picnic.  We'd have a blanket and a cooler of food and drinks (they don't allow alcohol to be brought in).  It's free admission and a good wholesome crowd - perfect for bringing the young kids.  The campus there is beautiful too.  When our kids were a bit older I'd haul up their friends with them too.  And then when they got old enough to drive, we'd caravan with a big bunch of them.... since we had multiple cars at that point, and not just me doing the driving.  Once the kids were old enough to really appreciate the Bears players autographs, they would LOVE getting the autographs every year.  We still have autographed photos on my son's bedroom walls (even though he's married and lives out East now)... can't bring myself to ever take that stuff down.

Anyway, I sure hope you have fun, and it is the beginning of a really really cool family tradition for you.
