I like George, I like Pace, I even like Ted, but not in his current role. Issues have been identified and they are being addressed by ownership. I just wish that some of the legacy baggage like Ted would be addressed in a truly objective manner.
THe only changes I would make are putting in place a true football executive, move Phillips to only financial responsibility and to replace Fox and possibly Loggains. I want to see what Loggains can do this season. I have not made a decision on him one way or another yet. I do know he is not a stud, but he might be good. Of course if we have an opportunity at a known stud at OC, go for it.

Agree w/this. But I'm hoping Pace takes the reigns of the football man/exec from Teddy and we just don't have to worry about it for a long time.
Loggains, I just have a Babbich vide from him, really hope I'm wrong. Last year though was absysmal in play calling and players though, so hopefully if they can stay healthy and he can stay on point(lots of running) he'll do until Fox is replaced.

+1 My only point is that it is a new season and it is something for fans to be excited about. For one of the few times in my lifetime the Bears have drafted a kid who has a legit shot at becoming a solid franchise QB for us - and I am beyond excited about that. I am excited about MANY of the young players whom have been added to this team in the last 3 drafts. Hey, I may be in the depths of despair if the season is a crappy one again (LOL, you can bank on it I will be crushed). But right now I'm excited about the team I have been a fan of for over a half-century. I get a bit pissed when people run down the Bears, but that's just me, and my problem I guess.
It reminds me of that old movie Hoosiers, and Gene Hackman - the coach - not being popular, and the fans not happy with the players. I loved the part where he just tells the fans, "This is your team" and later says, "My team is on the floor" ... well Bears fans - this is OUR team - for this season. These are our players. These are our coaches. This is our 2017 Chicago Bears team.

You will realize that this is just entertainment for us, but the livelihood of the players who want success more than ANY of us, and you will know those kids did the very best they could and you will get excited for 2018, just as you (and I and all of us) do every year, cuz nun of us is goin nowhere. Im in " I'll believe it when I see it " mode with all of these guys coming back from injuries .
I just feel like I am gonna believe the best for these guys coming back from injury. I cannot imagine what it must take just to get into the shape they are in when they are healthy. I figure we can't even comprehend what that must take at the professional NFL level. Then factor in what it must take to come back to that level after major injuries... it is climbing a big mountain. But I'm 100% pulling for them to come back. If they can't, hey that's regrettable and sad and life goes on. But until it looks like they can't come back, I am hoping for the best for them. I can't fault a guy for believing in himself and trying to come back. Frankly, for a "fan" to say that is arrogant and they should STFU - I just don't understand that attitude.
