I'm thinking 2-2 since Romo isn't playing for the cowboys. I think we can beat the Eagles but the Texans and the Lions are going to be a handful for us. I don't think or O line is going to hold up vs their D lines and our secondary is all over the place. There is a real possibility of going 1-3 if the offense can't get going.
I'd like to see them play the Texans before I try to predict anything. I have no idea how this team is going to look right now. The pre-season games, to me, looked like a lot of test runs for different looks the coordinators wanted to work on. Ultra vanilla play calling. I think this team is going to have a lot of surprises but I don't know if those surprises will be good or bad - probably a bit of both. The Texans are a great first game. We don't matchup well with them (IMO) so this game will really show off the strengths and weaknesses of the coordinator's ability to game plan and scheme AND our player's talents or lackthereof.
I would be disappointed if we can't go 2-2 in the first quarter. I agree with Belliot that we really don't know much at this point. And if we would have a rough go in the first 4 games that doesn't necessarily define our season for the rest of the year. If we look like crap in those first four games that's one thing, but if we are competitive and only have some things to clean up, maybe that's another thing. And I keep thinking it is reasonable to believe the young team will improve as the season progresses. But still, I'm hoping we win at least 2 games of those 4.
