For a guy coming off of 2 injuries with his leg and having problems knowing the route he runs. Is there hope that he can play towards his draft pick value?
He had a great play against the Cowboys:
Is he a future bust or can he some how beat the odds of being the only WR to come back after missing this much time and playing towards his value?
I think part of that will be the lack of throws to all wr/te/rb targets. I'm guessing 550 or so passes by Glennon/other qb's. That would be about 330 completions(at 60%) and that's about 20% of completions to White. Considering there is no clear #1, other then maybe Miller that sounds fair.

I was gonna say 800 yards, 5 TDs, but its all guess work at this point.
I wonder what the passing game will look like this year. Last year it seemed to be a lot of dink and dunk quick passes. Of course with Hoyer and Barkley, and our injured WR's, it probably was all we could run. But if you look at the passing stats for the year, we didn't have much of a vertical game.
This makes me wonder if some of that could also be due to the OL. The stats for the year for the OL look decent. But maybe one reason for that is due to trying to compensate for the OL (getting the ball out quick like we did). I don't claim to know, but just wonder.
The dink and dunk stuff made Hoyer's stats look decent, but the team scoring wasn't what it should have been scoring (in 6 games he had 6 TDs). Barkley played in 7 games and had 8 TDs, so not much there either. But both QBs had some stats that looked decent. But it's like we looked good in the stat game, but not in real games... like scoring enough to win games. We ranked 28th in the NFL in scoring offense.
Hopefully the team is more aggressive on offense this year, and that includes the passing game for sure.
For White to have a great season, some of it will depend upon the offense the Bears run. Can the OL give Glennon time to get the ball downfield (not just the dink and dunk stuff), and CAN Glennon be a solid QB and deliver these passes? Even if White stays healthy for 16 games, I figure there are other factors that will affect his season.

I think as far as the passing game goes, the dink and dunk is a preference for Fox isn't it? He likes a ball control, low risk passing game that emphasizes the run. Or at least that is my perception.

What you saw when Barkley and Hoyer were in, even if they couldn't complete the deep pass(they did try to throw some a few times a game) was mostly 3 step and some 5 step drops. I would expect more of that. The OL isn't built to handle 5-7 step drops all game(ala AZ), nor should it be when the team wants to be run heavy and use/abuse the rb's they have.
Much of the lack of success of the run game was the WR's. Most aren't starters, and you saw that last year. Meredith finally broke out, but he's not a #1 and only an average 2, he's best as 3rd or 4th WR. This year he'll have that role w/Miller/White(if healthy), Wheaton or Wright likely playing in front or as much as him. Should see a lot of spreading the ball around also, since there really isn't a true #1. Find the open man and get it to him.
In his very limited action last year I was not impressed. I am just not excited about Tavon Austin... Er.. Percy Harvin.. Er... Oh Kevin White. Maybe he will be focused and on the war path this year, or not. No one really has a clue.
